We are currently seeking a highly skilled Asset Care Technician/Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in St. Helens. This is a day job, and the successful candidate will be responsible for providing mechanical and electrical services to ensure optimal asset care. Our goal is to maintain high standards of asset availability, and we are looking for someone who shares our Continuous Improvement mindset to drive improvements.

 

As an Asset Care Technician/Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for :

  • HSHE awareness – Ensure that all tasks are carried out safely, adhering to all safe working practices.
  • Respond to production breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Identify and solve the root-cause problems to provide long term solutions.
  • Observe and communicate any required improvements on production machinery to support a continuous improvement culture.
  • Completion of Asset Care/TPM to plan.
  • Take part in / manage key projects and initiatives.

 

Experience

  • Achieved an Electrical Engineering qualification L3 or above
  • Experienced in maintaining industrial equipment
  • Capable of reading and working through electrical drawings
  • Good overall mechanical knowledge
  • Experienced in pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • FLT/MEWP (desirable)
  • Good level of PLC knowledge and understanding
