Procurement Buyer – Recycled Materials (rPET) (m/f/d)
Location: Flexible (Portugal / Spain / other European locations)

We are now looking for a Procurement Buyer – Recycled Materials to support the sourcing, allocation, and development of rPET across our European operations.
Your Role
In this role, you will support the management of recycled PET (rPET) procurement, ensuring supply continuity, cost accuracy, and supplier performance in a fast-evolving circular materials market.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders across multiple sites, contributing to both operational execution and the development of future category strategies. The role also offers clear progression into Commodity Management, with exposure to broader polymer categories such as PP and PS.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate rPET demand and supply across European sites, ensuring continuity and effective allocation
- Monitor market dynamics, pricing trends, and supply risks, proactively communicating impacts
- Maintain and update price lists and procurement data in ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Support supplier onboarding, validation, and performance management (quality, delivery, compliance)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Sustainability, Operations) on supplier approval and development
- Monitor sustainability and regulatory developments related to recycled plastics and circular economy targets
- Support contract execution, purchase order management, and day-to-day supplier interactions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and enhance procurement processes
What You Bring
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, ideally within plastics, recycling, or raw materials
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail, particularly in pricing and data management
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and strong Excel capabilities
- Solid negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a multi-site, international environment
- Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related field
- Fluent in English and Spanish (additional languages are a plus)
