If you are a seasoned HR professional who is ready to join a global company and lead growth in our PHD (Pharma, Healthcare, & Durables) division, this may be the role for you! The Human Resources Manager for Rural Retreat serves as a key member of the site’s Management Team, providing strategic HR leadership and support across all functions. This role reports directly to the Manager of Human Resources for the PHD Division, Americas, and plays a central part in fostering a high-performing, compliant, and people-focused workplace.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and tactical support for the Site Manager, Management Staff, and personnel.
  • Ensure site complies with company policy as well as local, state, and federal laws regarding employment.
  • Provide guidance and oversight for performance management, training and development, and succession planning, and maintenance of training matrices.
  • Facilitate site communications and town hall meetings as required.
  • Act as site liaison with functional support groups such as Compensation and Benefits, Payroll, etc.
  • Support recruitment efforts: create job postings, review resumes, interview candidates, and represent the company at job fairs.
  • Conduct pre-employment background checks according to company policy/procedure.
  • Coordinate, plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Create and Maintain employee files and the HR filing system.
  • Maintain the HRIS system and other company systems on-boarding, off-boarding, new hires, status changes, pay changes, personnel actions, terminations, benefits, personal information changes/updates.
  • Create, review, verify, process and maintain documentation relating to HR activities, to include but not limited to FMLA, personnel, I-9s, new hire reporting & terminations, benefits, unemployment benefit claims and other HR functions.
  • Collaborate with organizational peers on projects, best practice development.
  • Drive local employee and community engagement.

 

Your ideal profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • 3-5 years of Human Resource experience and/or training.
  • Practical Knowledge of federal and state laws and legislation affecting employment, benefits, etc. (FLSA, EEOC, OSHA, ADA, FMLA, etc.) required.
  • Good moderation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization.
  • Desire to work in a global environment.
  • Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HRIS databases (SAP/HR, Success factors etc.) as well as web-based recruiting tools such as LinkedIn.
  • Familiarity with ADP/Time and Attendance Systems and the ability to generate reports.
