Purpose of the job:

 

Working closely across company functions and playing a critical role in cash forecasting, anticipating potential cash impacts and ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational requirements.

Manage worldwide insurance program.  Coordination of insurance brokers’ work supporting the company.

  

Key tasks and responsibilities: 

  • Prepare rolling weekly 13 weeks Cash Flow forecast
  • Redesign of the current Cash Flow forecasting process, structures and system (Coupa)
  • Build and leverage a network of contacts inside kp (FP&A, Tax, Legal, Accounting, Procurement, SSC and others), ensuring linkage across cash stakeholders, helping to improve cash forecasting. Gain a strong understanding of the business, anticipating cash needs and liquidity issues
  • Work with site controllers of the key entities (USA, Brazil, Argentina, Spain, others) on midterm cash flow forecasts
  • Forecast worldwide interest expense and income and optimize financial reporting
  • Conceptual and technical optimization of the treasury management system and banking systems
  • Manage and improve worldwide insurance programs (global and local) including property and casualty, directors and officers, crime, cyber, marine, auto, worker’s compensation and others
  • Manage kp´s worldwide insurance program, scope of coverage, and oversight, management and coordination of the work of insurance brokers supporting the company, negotiation of policy contracts and commercial content (including terms and conditions, coverage, and premiums) with brokers and insurers
  • Insurance budget preparation, cost management, allocation and invoicing
  • Ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by Group Treasurer

 

Functional knowledge and technical skills within own and other areas: 

  • Strong analytical, financial and commercial skills
  • Experience working in a global business environment
  • Must have technical understanding of banking and treasury software
  • Excel Advanced

 

Educational requirements/qualifications and experience: 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with typically a minimum of 5-8 years of treasury work experience with focus on Cash Flow Forecasting
  • Deep experience and understanding of Cash flow, Working Capital and Cash Management activities
  • Insurance knowledge and experience (preferable)

                        

Key competencies:      

  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral – in English with a second European language a plus
  • Process driven with attention to detail and focus on continuous improvement
  • Positive attitude and perseverance
  • Self-motivated able to work autonomously, independently and with objectivity
