Purpose of the job:    
kpBuS is the center of excellence within KP, nestled in the dynamic city of Porto, Portugal. As an integral part of the Shared Service Center, we extend our specialized services to over 50 entities spanning across Europe and North America. Fueled by an unwavering commitment to continuous improvement, our mission is to streamline and optimize financial processes, simplifying complex financial workflows to empower businesses to channel their energy towards sustainable growth. In addition to the existing services, a Procurement Center of Excellence (PCoE) is stablished in Porto in 2024 with the objective to strengthen kp’s Purchase-to-Pay process and to make us a stronger partner towards our suppliers.
kp is looking for a dynamic Procurement Center of Excellence (PCoE) Manager to drive the ongoing development and optimization of our established team. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in the transition of procurement process from diverse legal entities to Porto, enhancing procurement processes, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering outstanding client service. Your responsibilities:    
•    Manage the Procurement PCoE as “one team one goal” within Global Procurement, being responsible to manage team, which is fully operational, composed by two PCoE Team Leads and a team of team of Procurement Administrative Officers     supporting global kp business
•    Ensure customer-oriented, lean and cost-efficient execution of procurement back office processes, analytical support and continuous improvement;
•    Achievement of performance targets and development & execution of PCoE strategy as jointly defined with the respective stakeholders.
•    Manage PCoE demand and address issues from local entities / countries.
•    Support transition of new markets and processes into PCoE, ensuring readiness from the local sites.
    

Your profile:    
•    Strong experience in leading Procurement department internationally (>7 years and >3 years in leading people)
•    Demonstrated experience in developing Procurement Excellence strategies, KPIs, roadmap to support business objectives
•    Degree in business, economics, technical or equivalent / higher education
•    Professional working proficiency in English. Another European language (Portuguese, German, Italian, French, Polish, Spanish) preferred;
•    Leadership experience for >10 employees
•    Strategic mindset with proven, international stakeholder management expertise in a matrix organization and good networking skills
•    Strong track record of leading, coaching and developing teams
•    Excellent people management skills
•    Experienced working knowledge in SAP and/or JDE
