Receiving Coordinator - GOR

 

Summary:  

Ensures materials are received in an accurate and efficient manner.  Supports inventory control activities to include material staging and warehousing.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:    

  • Align with kp’s strategic compass and core behaviors:  Focus, Accountability, Respect, and Urgency.
  • Lead by example - promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Instill a culture of safety, quality (first time right), OTIF, productivity, and sustainability.                          
  • Receiving raw materials and into SAP to include proper labelling.
  • Visual inspection of incoming raw materials to comply with specifications and procedures.          
  • Execute sampling plan for all raw materials.
  • Ensuring Certificates of Analysis are on hand for all received raw materials.  
  • Working MRP Planner to monitor and control inventory of raw materials
  • Coordinate trailer movements with Logistics team
  • Execute movements of raw materials from loading dock to Mixing areas, utilizing bar code scanning.
  • Processing raw material transfers to other kp plants
  • Organizing and row tagging raw materials to prepare for monthly inventory
  • Supporting monthly raw materials inventory counts
  • Maintaining filing system daily for goods receipts records
  • Coordinate Bulk Truck and Liquid Tanker unloading
  • Prepare raw materials for export shipments
  • Accountable for 5S organization and housekeeping in Receiving area.
  • Coordinate quarantining of quality rejections and processing of material returns to vendor.
  • Ensure a safe workplace and drive safety improvements
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:                                                        

High school diploma or equivalency; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Must have basic computer skills (MS Office, BDE, SAP).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
