Human Resource Administrator (GOR Campus, PHD)

                                                   

Summary:  Provides administrative and clerical human resources support for the Site and Regional HR Managers and the Global HR team of the Pharma, Health & Durables (PHD) Division.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Contribute to the development of the PHD Division recruitment strategy in the US and actively engage in recruitment for open positions in the US (to include posting job advertisements, reviewing resumes, interviewing, attending job fairs)
  • Contribute to the development of an Employer Branding concept for kp and the PHD Division
  • Support our internal communication processes
  • Conduct pre-employment background checks according to company policy/procedure.
  • Coordinate, plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals
  • Create and Maintain employee files and the HR filing system
  • Assist with the day-to-day efficient operation of HR, PHD
  • Maintain the HRIS system and other company systems in regards to on-boarding, off-boarding, new hires, status changes, pay changes, personnel actions, terminations, benefits, personal information changes/updates
  • Create, review, verify, process and maintain documentation relating to HR activities, to include but not limited to FMLA, personnel, I-9s, new hire reporting & terminations, benefits, unemployment benefit claims and other HR functions
  • Ensure the use of and compliance to local HR policies, processes and procedures, contribute to harmonization efforts and support Business Partners 
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:                                                

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field and 2 to 3 years of Recruiting/Human Resource experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Knowledge of federal and state laws and legislation affecting employment, benefits, etc. (FLSA, EEOC, OSHA, ADA, FMLA, etc.) required.
  • Good moderation and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization
  • Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with HRIS databases (SuccessFactors etc.) as well as web-based recruiting tools such as LinkedIn
