At kp, we are currently looking for a Market Development Analyst for our Pharmaceutical division, who will play a key role in developing the commercial strategy for Klöckner Pentaplast’s global Pharma business.

In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with the Sales and Innovation teams to foster early engagement in new drug development and ensure the right products and services are delivered for medications entering the market. You will also provide critical insights into broader market trends and growth areas, supporting the Sales and Product Line teams in identifying and developing actionable commercial targets.

 

Location:
This is a remote position that can be based in one of our European locations, such as Spain, Portugal, Italy, or Poland, where kp has established operations.

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts market analysis to generate key insights into development trends across regions and applications.

  • Analyzes the drug development pipeline for Top 30 accounts and other key market players.

  • Monitors patent landscapes for blockbuster drugs and supports Sales/KAM in developing strategies for the shift to generics.

  • Develops and maintains market insight dashboards for key accounts to support Key Account Managers (KAMs).

  • Acts as an internal subject matter expert on pharmaceutical market developments.

  • Gathers and prioritizes customer requirements and unmet needs to inform current and future product development.

  • Translates changes in product and regulatory requirements into actionable recommendations for customers, the market, and kp.

  • Works closely with Product Line Managers and Market Development Managers to proactively address market changes and position kp as a trusted partner in future product development.

 

Who We’re Looking For:

You may be a strong match for this role if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, science, or engineering. An MBA is a plus.

  • Some years experience in a relevant industry, ideally within Pharma or related markets.

  • Experience in product managementtechnical, or innovation projects within a manufacturing company.

  • Strong data analysis and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Excel (especially pivot tables) and Power BI.

  • The ability to develop and deliver professional, clear, and engaging presentations.

  • An open-minded and collaborative communication style, suited to working in cross-functional global teams.

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).

  • The ability to work both strategically and tactically, and switch between the two as needed.

  • A strong technical interest and enjoyment of working across different functions. #LI-REMOTE
