The role of the IT Coordinator - Gendorf is to plan, organize and manage overall IT operations at the Gendorf site and associated locations.

Tasks and Responsibilities:    
•    Support upcoming projects, address changes, and resolve issues and risks.

•    Support in setting service level agreements and KPIs for site IT performance.
•    Ensure IT costs and expenditures are in line with the IT budget
•    Support on initiatives to improve business performance, efficiency and cost savings
•    Develop, test and communicate local disaster recovery/business continuity plans
•    Contribute to the continued development of the IT knowledge base and documentation of best practices
•    Project management to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
•    Develop business cases and cost/benefit analysis for IT expenditures and initiatives
•    Provide IT hardware and software to end users

•    Management of external service providers.

 

Professional Education:    
•    Studies in the IT field or solid training as an IT specialist in combination with at least 5 years of professional experience in the required IT fields. 

 

Skills / Personality:  

•  Very good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems in the client / server area and Microsoft Office products.
•  Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, virtualization, storage systems, network, infrastructure hardware, protocols and IT standards. 

•  Profound experience in successful planning and implementation of IT projects using a project management methodology.

•  Experience in creating technical concepts and documentation.

•  Experience in backup, disaster recovery and business continuity.

•  Knowledge in scripting and power shell area advantageous.

•  Practical experience with ITIL oriented IT Service Desk processes.

•  Working experience in a manufacturing industrial company would be a plus.

•  Organizational and time management skills, as well as independent and pro-active work style
•  Excellent English and German language skills, both written and spoken.
