We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Sales Manager to join our dynamic and innovative team in the food packaging industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving sales growth.. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the growth of all our product groups within your account portfolio. This involves identifying and developing new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding relationships with existing customers to ensure sustained sales growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the commercial team to foster business development initiatives.
  • Conduct trials at customer sites and provide insightful feedback on outcomes.
  • Provide technical expertise of the products, machinery, and processes within our customer base.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders at customer sites.
  • Offer technical guidance and support to internal teams and clients.
  • Perform market audits within protein and seafood markets through store visits.

 

Key Competencies:

  • Exceptional communication skills for effective internal and external interactions.
  • Background in Sales/Marketing within the FMCG sector is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Comfortable with numerical data and analysis.
  • Aptitude for making sound business decisions, particularly in complex scenarios.
  • Proficiency in project management techniques.
