Graduate Product Designer 

Are you passionate about new product designs and conceptual product ideas while making a positive impact on the environment? Klöckner Pentaplast (kp), a global leader in sustainable packaging solutions with a presence in 18 countries and a workforce of approximately 6000 employees worldwide, is seeking a dedicated Graduate Product Designer to join our team in Featherstone, West Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Using Solidworks to create 3D product drawings
  • Designing products from concept to production ready
  • Creating high quality customer facing concept presentations
  • Programming and running a CNC machine to create prototype tools

 

Qualifications:

  • Recent Graduate, ready to gain a hands-on experience, in a multi-disciplined team.
  • Fluent in Solidworks or similar CAD packages.
  • Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator ability useful.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Product Design / Industrial Design or relevant equivalent experience. 
  • Good knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods.
  • CNC, and Vacuum Forming knowledge useful but not essential.
