FP Commercial Analyst

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Identify opportunities to enhance margin and profitability across regions in close partnership with FP Sales teams.
• Deliver transparency on where profitability is gained or lost across customers, product lines, and transactions.
• Analyse CM1 and CM2 margins and develop tracking mechanisms that highlight risk and opportunity.
• Provide pricing and margin insight for both new business opportunities and existing customer portfolios.
• Support commercial performance monitoring, identifying variances vs. budgets and supporting corrective action plans.
• Strengthen commercial margin enhancement capabilities across FP in collaboration with Commercial and Finance teams.
• Drive best practices in margin enhancement and commercial processes.
• Streamline FP Commercial reporting and proactively deliver insights to senior leadership up to Board level.
• Produce ad‑hoc analysis and reporting to support strategic decision making.

• Enhanced execution of the FP Commercial Finance plan in line with budgetary targets

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Finance (Postgraduate or MBA preferred)

Skills & Competencies

• Proven experience driving commercial finance initiatives, reporting, and business support
• Strong business acumen with the ability to extract, interpret, and communicate insights to all stakeholder levels
• Analytical, independent, and methodical approach
• Confident change agent with strong communication and interpersonal impact
• Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, multinational environment
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging senior leaders
• High proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Salesforce, SAP or E1
• Strong presentation and slide‑building abilities
• Fluent English; additional languages advantageous

Experience

• 5–7 years of business experience
• 3–4 years in commercial finance roles
• Experience in consulting or advisory roles is a strong plus
• Packaging industry experience beneficial but not required
