The Material Mover is a shift-based role within the Production Team. The role reports to the Manufacturing Senior Operational Team Leader.

This role involves the safe and efficient movement of materials across the site using a Forklift Truck (FLT), ensuring production lines are consistently supplied and operational. 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) to transport raw materials and components within the production area
  • Supply production lines with required materials in a timely manner
  • Conduct daily FLT safety checks and report any faults or maintenance issues
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements where required
  • Ensure all materials are stored correctly and safely
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and site regulations
  • Support general warehouse and production duties as needed
  • Competent in using RF Smart for product traceability, including scanning goods in and out
  • Maintain awareness and compliance with Cority 
    (health, safety, and environmental reporting system)
  • Ensure correct waste segregation and disposal to designated areas
  • Provide the Produciton line break cover as required

Skills and Experience:

  • Valid counterbalance FLT licence
  • Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Flexibility to support different areas of the operation when required
