Purpose of the job:

The Inside Sales Representative manages and grows a portfolio of established customers of Pharma and CP /Medical Device Packaging films. The person in this role is responsible for driving profitable growth within Brazil by expanding existing customer relationships, identifying and converting new business opportunities, and accelerating market penetration. The role serves as the primary commercial representative of kp, developing strategic customer partnerships while delivering sustainable revenue growth and market share gains. The position will be based in Cotia, Sao Paulo.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Increase the existing business and brings growth within the assigned territory through customer acquisition, share expansion and market penetration.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Manage the assigned customer portfolio with accountability for revenue, profitability, growth and customer retention.
  • Ensure high customer intimacy, i.e. build up relationships with decision makers and understand decision-making structures of our customers and prospects e.g. purchasing, manufacturing, technical departments, marketing (sustainability) and logistics.
  • Responsible for selling the entire product range of Pharmaceutical Films and Medical Device Films to all of accounts in the assigned region.
  • Identify, target and acquire new customers to increase market share and expand kp's presence within the Pharma segment.
  • Drive account penetration and increase wallet share by identifying new applications, products and services that create customer value.
  • Owns opportunity pipeline and ensures sufficient pipeline conversion rate.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Pharma market requirements, product portfolios, manufacturing processes and regulatory expectations relevant to kp's value proposition.
  • Be aware of, and responsive to market conditions, competitive pricing and strategy and analyzing competitor activity. Communicate such information to management to support strategic decisions.
  • Manage pricing and commercial negotiations in line with company profitability objectives and supported by Finance/Pricing Team.
  • Build strong relationships across multiple customer functions, including Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, Engineering, Marketing and Business Development.
  • Represent kp at customer meetings, industry events and trade shows to strengthen market presence and generate new business opportunities.
  • Use of Salesforce (CRM) (e.g. sales reports, competitors’ information, project pipeline) in timely manner.
  • Active participation in forecasting process.
  • Travel as required within the territory

 

Functional knowledge and technical skills required: 

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, acquiring new customers annually, account management and , preferably within Pharma or Healthcare markets or Industries where growth is the DNA of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive territory growth through customer acquisition, account expansion and opportunity development.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills with a solid understanding of profitability and value-based selling.
  • Ability to build and manage a robust sales pipeline using a structured sales approach and CRM tools.
  • Understanding Pharma market requirements and regulatory environments; knowledge of polymers and converting technologies is advantageous.
  • Good MS-Office, SAP and Business Warehouse software knowledge. Salesforce and PriceFx knowledge are an advantage.
  • Organizational skills
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Delivery of sales presentations to customers and potential customers as needed.
  • Strong Spanish communication skills and good written and spoken English skills are a must-have. Spanish is a plus
  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.

 

Educational requirements/qualifications and experience:

  • Commercial or technical studies/education with min. experience of 1 – 2 years in sales or customer service of highly sophisticated products, preferable in the packaging industries for pharmaceutical markets.
