The Role

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Program Manager to join our Global Innovation team leading the Stage Gate process and driving the innovation multi-segment program portfolio . This is a critical role to the business which will monitor and analyze all benefits and costs associated with the project work for Innovation, including patents, and make key recommendations for improvements. The job holder will also be  involved in updating/ tracking, generating and visualizing data, and prepare presentations for executive and board reviews with key insights into strategy. 

 

Please note that this exciting position offers a hybrid working model and can be based in any of the following locations: Charlottesville, Virginia; Gordonsville, Virginia; Montabaur, Germany; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Cotia, Brazil; ,Rayong, Thailand; Suzhou, China.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and further development of the innovation process database (Stage-Gate) in Salesforce and integration to IP,  SAP Business Warehouse
  • Creation and updating of web-based training materials for the innovation process (SAP Workforce Performance Builder)
  • Training and support of the innovation process on the CRM software Salesforce
  • Statistical evaluations, analyses and presentations on the innovation process and the innovation pipeline
  • Contact person and coordinator for enquiries, training and signature regulation
  • Regular updates in Sales force and monthly reports
  • Tracking of top line sales and vitality index, linking sales force and business-warehouse
  • Budgeting, forecasting and reporting of the innovation CAPEX, Innovation trial report, and overall cost in close coordination with the innovation managers and finance
  • Initiation and follow-up of the CAPEX workflow for the innovation department in SharePoint
  • Administrative contact for government-funded innovation projects in coordination with internal departments and external project sponsors
  • Maintenance and archiving of NDA / JDA documents in paper form (originals / copies) and digitally on global SharePoint, and control of user rights – GLOBAL
  • Maintenance and updating of the patent database in Salesforce, as well as control of user rights – GLOBAL
  • Reporting on patent portfolio and evaluation and IP controlling: maintenance, updating and reporting of patent costs
  • Cost tracking and reporting of innovation projects with production trials of the innovation
  • Supporting the VP in the preparation of Staff Meetings and resolution of functional misalignments, representation in various forums internally, and execute reporting/ data visualization/ presentations/ recommendations for PHD LT, KLT, and the Board

 

Your Profile

  • University Degree in Business, Engineering or a related field
  • Knowledge of innovation management/stage gate process
  • Solid knowledge of Salesforce
  • Expertise in project management, process and quality management (DMAIC, SixSigma, Lean,..)
  • Minimum 3 – 5  years of professional experience in a comparable field of activity
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • Affinity for IT tools, databases, workflow software
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Knowledge of patent law an advantage
  • Very good communication and presentation skills
  • Strong intercultural skills
  • Ability to work in a team, reliability, flexibility, and loyalty
  • Experience in controlling and SAP knowledge advantageous
