Purpose of the role:
The main purpose of this role is proper implementation of kp Flexible film range in Food industry and converter segment in order to ensure the safety of packaging, the performance of our products on customers’ process/packaging lines, and the perfect pack appeal in stores. In this role you will actively participate, in connection with Innovation for testing/approving new products. This role reports to the Sales Director and can be based in one of kp sites in Europe or home based with willingness to travel globally.


 Your Responsibilities:
•    Hear and organize information from sales teams to specify the key elements of films implemented by Industrialists.
•    Participate in the development of new product specifications.
•    Evaluate the performance of the films and measure the performance gaps of Flexible films with the expectations of the specifications and revise the product specifications if/when necessary.
•    Implement application tests with packaging machine suppliers and/or customers.
•    Provide field technical support during the implementation of products 
•    Monitoring technical performance up to the release of new films brought to market through innovation and proposing an adjustment to the specifications if necessary.
•    Guarantees the identification of the stability of the product during the launch phase.
•    Communication of industrial projects that have an impact on the product and their progress.
•    Monitoring certain process modification projects in production and validation of customer impacts.
•    Proposal for structural evolution innovation to achieve properties required by the market (structure and/or cost price).
•    Tests the products produced by innovation to highlight the strong points and weak points among customers, comparing them to existing films on the market on the defined scope.
 

Your Profile:
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in scientific/technical and commercial skills
•    Good knowledge of B2B distribution networks
•    Experience in plastic packaging specially Barrier Flexibles
•    Ability to set films, playing with / adjusting settings on packaging machinery 
•    Customer focussed and good ability to communicate 
•    Fluent in English and second European language is an advantage
•    Ability to travel globally as required by job 
•    Good practice with computer and statistical tools and databases.
•    Creativity, innovation and strength of proposal to participate in the development of new products and their launch
•    Solid analytical and critical thinking skills
•    Use of monitoring systems and indicators (Novus, Salesforce, traceability of trial data and new applications)
•    Cross-functional management to lead or actively participate in cross-functional working groups
