Electro-Mechanical Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnoses and repairs the cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment, performs preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager with planning and executing electrical, mechanical and infrastructure upgrades/improvements as needed.  
• Electrical, mechanical and facilities equipment installation, improvement/modification with the goal of improving uptime/reliability and troughput.
• Plans, directs, and records periodic electrical testing, and recommends and/or initiates modification or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards.
• Develops wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for system or equipment modifications or expansion and directs/trains personnel performing routine installation and maintenance duties.
• Maintain good housing keeping and safety compliance meeting both company requirement and GMP standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree (A.A.), Technical school or above in electric/mechanic-electric, or six plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications: Working knowlege of  Electric and Electrical devices from high voltage to control voltages. Familiar with PLC programs and programing. Exceptional mechanical knowledge and prowess.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Have good judgment and decision-making skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills, influence, planning and execution skills

Computer Skills: Ability to learn and use standard sprecialized computer software and hardware, icluding but not limited to Microsoft Office/Teams, Enteprise software (SAP), PLC programing software and other harware specific software.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
