Quality Coordinator

                                       

 

Summary: Supports the Site Quality Manager in the customer issue resolution (CIR) process by investigating and documenting processes and customer complaints about product quality and service.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Follows new complaints to ensure on-time responsiveness from internal functions (sample evaluations, operations corrective actions, etc.) and to the customer
    • High priority customers with specific turnaround time requirements to be identified – Immediate focus areas

 

  • Notifies the appropriate personnel about the existence of the complaint and distributes complaints reports.

 

  • Distributes corrective action reports to the appropriate departments and maintains a log of delinquent reports.  Obtains corrective action from the appropriate department and assures that the customer receives a corrective action letter, if required

 

  • Notifies customer and designated personnel of findings, adjustments, and recommendations such as return of merchandise, credit of customer's account

 

  • Prepares reports to management related to complaints and returns status and summary of results to help drive Pareto-focused actions

 

  • Reviews records to determine need for procedure improvement

 

  • Maintains historical data and documents in support of the ISO procedures, specifications and data sheets

 

  • Investigates SAP/COA issues and assists with resolutions.

 

  • Member of Internal Quality Audit Team
    • Aids in internal cGMP audits as well as audits of control plans

 

  • Generates reports and follows up on CIR issues, such as time delays related to the response to the customer.

 

  • Administrates waiver process

 

  • Assist with required vendor audits

 

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:                                                 

Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
