Please note that this position needs to be based on the West Coast and only candidates with the relevant experience from this region will be considered.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales & marketing plan for major accounts. Prepare and deliver accurate forecasts/budgets.
- Increase kp responsiveness through day-to-day involvement strengthen the strategic partnerships with major customers’ technical, marketing, sales, and manufacturing resources.
- Motivate local sales resources to drive projects forward with your personal engagement on securing the orders.
- Oversee account activity and monitor status of kp’s performance (forecast, sales, pricing, profitability, variances)
- Implement/review standard strategic account partnership agreements, pricing, warranty, payment terms and service contracts at the sites and propose/execute changes where necessary
- Leverage successes at individual sites to win business at all sites of the strategic accounts
- Review competitive business and develop competition attack plan.
- Nurture existing and create new relationships with senior customer contacts at strategic accounts.
- Coordinate closely with internal resources to ensure consistency of management for selected accounts globally.
- Evaluate market conditions and positioned products and services by coordinating extensive qualitative and quantitative market research.
- Primary point of contact for overseeing project management for all major customer-related projects: Interface with product engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, quality assurance, and management where required.
- Manages the overview of warranty claims with QA, Engineering, Manufacturing and Customer Service. Establishes and maintains a closed loop warranty system to facilitate continuous improvement of products.

- Development and maintenance of successful relationships globally with key accounts in the labels market
- Top line growth above market growth
- Planning and execution of in-person customer visits globally
- EBITDA margin of > 17%
- Ensuring the presence and support for the global market strategy and planning process.
Language Skills:
- Superior communication and presentation skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Relevant multi-lingual capabilities are essential.
Financial Analytical Skills:
- Performs a broad range of financial planning and analysis. Demonstrates a solid understanding of key financial reporting, such as profit/loss statements and cash management. Monitors actual results of financial data against plans, forecasts, and budgets, determines trends, and explains financial results. Prepares detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of management. Consolidates a wide range of operating and financial projections for the development of short-term and long-term business plans.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Engineering, or equivalent); Master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent preferred; or eight to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
