Purpose: The role of the IT Site Coordinator - Bertinoro is to plan, organize, and manage overall operations to ensure the stability of IT services, in-line with Service Level Agreements and business requirements to limit IT related impact on site production. This position will be responsible for the management of third party suppliers to ensure the appropriate interactions are maintained between the site and the IT organization

 

Your Responsibilities:

• Close relationship and regular meetings with the site management to support upcoming projects, address changes and resolve issues and risks

• Document, maintain, support, and optimize site infrastructure IT architecture, applications and services in-line with defined group standards

• Ensure IT costs and spend are in alignment with the IT Budget

• Develop and support the local management in business performance improvement, efficiency and cost saving initiatives

• Assist IT management to interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors

• Manage and ensure the effectiveness of security solutions, servers and optimal operation of all IT hardware and equipment and their associated operating systems and software

• Document and manage all IT requests and issues in the ticket management system to a high standard and in accordance with service delivery guidelines

• Develop and contribute to the IT knowledge base and best practice documentation

 

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience in a relevant IT discipline

• Working technical knowledge of network, operating systems, servers, infrastructure hardware, protocols and IT standards

• Experience with Microsoft products operating within an ITIL or similar framework

• Experience with VMware products Desirable

• Excellent English and Italian communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues

• Ability to work under pressure and achieve target deadlines

• Excellent organization and time management skills
